The brainchild of Addison Dillon, one of our tournament directors, the Quarterly Trophy (name pending) is a trophy that will be given out four times a year. The winner of this trophy will be the person with the most "trophy points." These points can be earned by participating in and doing well in tournaments hosted by Southside Atlanta Chess Club. See the spreadsheet below to view current standings for this quarter's trophy.

Trophies to be awarded at the end of: March, June, September, and December.

How to earn points:

1. Participating in tournaments - one point per tournament attended

2. Placing well in a section - last place get zero points, second to last gets one, etc

3. Beating someone higher rated - one point will be awarded for every 100 points different (.5 per for draws)
